Alan Newcomb, MSW - Operations Associate

Alan received his BA from Bard College in 2003 and his MSW from the University of Georgia in 2025, during which time he also interned as a Spiritual Health Clinician at Emory University’s Winship Cancer Institute. He joined S.T.O.P. in 2022 after leaving a two-decade career as a motion picture camera assistant to spend more time with his wife, son, daughter, mother, cats, plants and books. Now as a social worker, advocate and researcher, Alan is grateful to provide support for the team here at S.T.O.P. around an entirely different sector of watchers and watching.
