Kate Zen - Community Advisory Board Member
Kate Zen is a software developer and community organizer. She is a co-founder of Red Canary Song, advocating for the labor rights of migrant sex workers in Queens, New York City, and coalition member of DecrimNY. She also organizes with Hacking//Hustling and RadTech Monthly, and conducts digital security trainings for sex workers, after being part of the Gender/Tech Institute at Tactical Tech in Berlin. Previously, in Canada, she organized with migrant sex workers at Butterfly and the Migrant Sex Workers Project. She also facilitated know-your-rights workshops with homeless LGBTQ youth in sex trades at Streetwise and Safe, served on the Board of SWOP-USA, and worked on policy communications for the Global Network of Sex Work Projects in the UK.
