We Won Again, Now In Albany!

*|MC:SUBJECT|*
Friend,

This past week we saw two big wins for privacy in the New York State Legislature!

First, lawmakers banned facial recognition in schools. Next they blocked police and ICE from using COVID-19 contact tracing data. Working with organizers from across the state, including many groups from our Privacy N.Y. coalition, we were proud to be a part of these historic privacy victories.

But the work isn’t over. We need to pass the entire Privacy N.Y. slate, transforming New York from the worst surveillance state in America into one of the most privacy protective.

Now, more than ever, we need your help in calling for bans on police drones, facial recognition, and location tracking. These latest bills prove that we can win, but only with your support. Can you volunteer below to help amplify our calls in Albany?

Thanks,
Will Luckman
Organizer
