Announcing our 2020 Annual Report!

*|MC:SUBJECT|*
Friend,

Our second birthday wasn’t the only reason we celebrated last week. We also just released S.T.O.P.’s 2020 annual report!

The report reviews last year’s high-profile victories, including passing New York City’s historic POST Act and supporting the push for Albany to enact COVID-19 privacy protections. But that’s not all. We also expanded our team, published almost one op-ed per week, and sued city and state agencies to end surveillance abuses.

We know that 2020 was a year unlike any other, but 2021 will be just as decisive for S.T.O.P. and our allies. Together, we’ll end government facial recognition, ban police purchases of location data, and ensure that this temporary health crisis doesn’t enable a new layer of permanent surveillance.

We're ready for the work ahead of us, but we need your help to defend our analog Constitution in the digital age. None of our 2020 wins would be possible without your support, but we need your support even more in 2021. Please donate to S.T.O.P. today to help us fight for privacy this year and in the years to come.

With thanks,
Sam Van Doran
Development Director
