Becca Abellera - Junior Board Member

Becca is a researcher, urban planner, and strategist. She holds a master's in Urban and Community Planning from Pratt Institute, where she began her career pivot to planning and policy after a decade as a copywriter/creative director. While her primary expertise is in climate resilience and environmental justice, she believes these issues go hand in hand with abolition and anti-surveillance work. She's passionate about justice in the built environment, data sovereignty, and community building.

When she's not making maps or analyzing policy documents, you can find her surfing in the Rockaways or crafting.
