CANCELED: Albany Electeds, Advocates Rally Against Geofence Warrants
(NEW YORK, NY, 2/5/2024) – Please note that tomorrow's New York State Capitol press conference and rally has been canceled because the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project (S.T.O.P.) and fellow civil rights groups will not be traveling to Albany, and instead will hold virtual lobby visits with legislators throughout the day. The civil rights group is still available for comment on the Reverse Location and Reverse Keyword Search Prohibition Act (Solages A3306/Myrie S217) to ban geofence and keyword warrants in New York State.
