Calling all New Yorkers to join us on Friday, August 14th at 12 PM ET for a rally and press conference on the Moynihan Train Hall steps (421 8th Avenue, New York, NY 10001) overlooking Madison Square Garden to demand the New York City Council to ban facial recognition and other biometric surveillance in grocery stores, sports arenas, and other public accommodations. The rally will be held after numerous surveillance scandals involving MSG Entertainment and its venues, but biometric surveillance extends far beyond the Garden in NYC. Let's demand the City Council ban the scan in ALL public accommodations across the city!
