James bairey - Volunteer

I’m a retired businessman and volunteer at S.T.O.P, doing my best to help with media, communications, writing and development. I grew up in Northern California in the 1960s and 70s and had the good fortune of starting my career in Silicon Valley in 1982, which turned out to be very good timing. I’ve started companies, worked with Big Tech, and helped launch numerous successful start-ups. Prior to joining S.T.O.P, I volunteered at a climate change organization and found the experience to be very rewarding. I have a wonderful wife and two daughters who live and work in New York City.
