Jay Wester - Legal Intern

Jay is a 3L at New York University School of Law and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to law school, Jay worked as a journalist and became interested in privacy while reporting on crime, policing, and the justice system in North Carolina, Texas, and New York. During law school, they have continued to develop their interest in privacy as it intersects with the democratic process and bodily autonomy through the NYU Law Reproductive Justice Clinic.
