Condemns DHS Fabrication Of Fake Left-Wing Terrorists Under Trump (New York, NY, 11/15/2022) - Today, the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project (S.T.O.P.), a privacy and civil rights group, condemns the Department of Homeland Security’s attempt to link anti-racist protesters in Portland, OR with former President Trump’s baseless claims of AntiFa terrorism during the summer 2020 Black Lives Matter protests. According to an internal DHS investigative report, made public by Senator Ron Wyden, top DHS officials ordered the agency to compile dossiers of information on possibly thousands of protesters and falsely label them “violent AntiFa anarchists” to increase Trump’s reelection odds.
