Noosha Aliabadi - Legal Fellow

I graduated from Berkeley Law in 2026 and from Pitzer College in 2020. At Berkeley, I led Berkeley's Digital Rights Project (DRP), a student-led legal service project that conducted privacy-related projects. Through my work with DRP, I learned about the scale of information collected by data brokers and how that information could be exploited by law enforcement. The experience inspired my interest in public interest technology law. In addition to leading DRP, I was also involved with Berkeley's Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic. While at Berkeley, I also interned with the Brennan Center for Justice's Liberty & National Security project and the ACLU of Northern California's Technology and Civil Liberties project. Through these internships, I learned how technology can be used to suppress activism, which strengthened my interest in pursuing public interest technology law. Lastly, during my third year of law school, I was an extern for the Honorable Edward M. Chen.
