SHreeya Parekh - research Intern

Shreeya is a fall research intern at S.T.O.P and a graduate student studying technology policy at MIT. Her focus is on the social sciences of the internet and surveillance. Shreeya’s current research explores older adults’ experiences online, and she has additional interests in understanding colonial relationships enforced by digital surveillance. Prior to graduate school, she was a computer science and political science dual degree at the University of Delaware. Passionate about technological justice, Shreeya seeks to understand the experiences of traditionally overlooked communities to better inform surveillance oversight efforts. Outside of academia and advocacy, Shreeya embroiders, watches movies, and swims.
