COVID-19 Health Data Privacy

S.T.O.P. supports Senate Bill S301 and Assembly Bill A687 which imposes privacy requirements for the collection and use of emergency health data and personal information and the use of technology to aid during the COVID-19 public health emergency. This bill would limit which agencies and private entities have access to health data collected in the process of combating COVID-19, and prevent sharing of that information with ICE or other law enforcement agencies.
