A Vision For Change

As technology further evolves, as surveillance grows more prevalent, this work will become only more essential to how we balance privacy and security at the local and state level. Change is never easy, especially in New York, so STOP plans to rapidly expand to meet the scale of the challenges we confront.

At STOP, we want nothing less than to turn New York State into a model of surveillance oversight for the rest of the country. We know we have a long way so that’s why we have a plan.
