Join us at the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon!

The Surveillance Technology Oversight Project (S.T.O.P.) is thrilled to help bring five runners to the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon! As an official charity partner of the New York Road Runners, not only do you get a guaranteed spot for the race, but you can also help fuel the fight for civil rights. Founded by a proud NYC marathoner, S.T.O.P. has worked for five years to take on cutting-edge issues, ensuring that new technologies like artificial intelligence don’t erode age-old rights. Our lawsuits, research reports, and advocacy campaigns have gained global recognition, but they’re only possible with the grassroots support of runners like you. The NYC marathon is a race like no other; a wall of sound that makes you feel like the entire city has your back. By partnering to run with S.T.O.P., you can run those 26.2 miles with the special pride of knowing your support means you have New York’s back too. With you in our running group, we know we can reach the finish line, protecting civil rights and privacy for generations to come.
